How to make a 

crayon creation!


What is a crayon creation?

A crayon creation is a piece of art. It is made out of recycled crayons. 

It is a simple and fun craft. But make sure to take breaks to let your 

fingers relax. Have fun!


What materials are needed ?

  • An adult

  • A peeler

  • Crayons that are fine to break or already broken 

  • Plastic wrap or glad wrap

  • Paper

  • Glue

  • 3 buckets one will be used for unshredded crayons one

     for shredded crayons and one for crayon shavings.

  •  tape


After you get the supplies you can begin


Time to start! 


Step 1 

Start by breaking your crayons and peeling their wrappers off.

Step 2 

Take your peeler and start shredding the crayons, make sure 

an adult is nearby, put the shavings in the shavings bin and 

the crayon in the shredded crayon bin .

    Step 3 

After you decide if you have enough crayon shavings, decide on 

your shape or letter. Once you decide on your letter or shape using

 glue,outline the image on your paper.

Step 4

After you outline the image sprinkle it with the crayon shavings 

dust it and let it dry the longer the better


Step 5

After it dries, dust it off. Take the plastic wrap and wrap it 

around the paper and tape it closed.

       On Friday after the power went out, making our whole neighborhood suddenly dark, my parents decided to go to their  work to get internet. My expirence at the Whitewater Center Rock Ride Paddle camp

  The Whitewater camp called Rock, Ride, Paddle is a one week long camp in which you do various activities throughout the week. Some of the activities include whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, and mountain biking. There are other camps like Adventure camp but they are not focused on certain activities. Below are the activities we did and how each of them were. Whitewater Kayaking Whitewater kayaking is when you ride rapids and learn how to control a kayak. The first thing you learn is  how to put on the gear and after that you learn how to wet exit if you flip over. After that you get in the  water and practice. We were supposed to kayak for around 2 hrs per day but the first day that we were  supposed to kayak they were testing the water and didn't want people in the water. day1

We made it to the airport, and things started off a little stressful. One person in our group didn’t show up on time, which made us worry about missing the flight. Luckily, I had a bit of good luck at TSA, since I passed through security on the first try something I hadn’t done in a while. Since our flight was delayed, we had extra time to grab a bite to eat at the airport. I picked yogurt and fruit at this sit down restaurant near the gate, which was light but kept me full for the trip. Once we finished eating, we boarded our flight to New York. The flight was only about an hour and a half, so it went by pretty quickly. After we landed in New York, things got a little hectic again. We almost missed our connecting flight to London Heathrow, and we had to rush to the gate. We got there just as they were about to close the boarding doors, but since we had a group of seven, they were kind enough to wait a bit for us.
