My essay: I Love Ice Cream

 

I love Ice cream


I love Ice cream because you add different toppings, there are so 

many flavors and most of all, because it is refreshing on a hot day.


One reason that I love Ice cream is that you can add different 

toppings. For example, you can add a cherry, and you can add

Oreo’s, and you can add different kinds of candy.


Another reason I love Ice cream is that there are so many flavors. 

For example, Baskin Robbins has 31 different flavors, there are 

flavors like Chocolate, Mint chocolate, and Rocky road, and 

grocery stores sell lots of different flavors and brands.


Although I love Ice cream because you can add different toppings 

and there are so many flavors, I especially love Ice cream because 

it is refreshing on a hot day. For example eating cold Ice cream can

 cool you down, when playing outside you can get Ice cream from 

an Ice cream truck to cool you down, and after a sports game you 

can go home and enjoy some ice cream!

       On Friday after the power went out, making our whole neighborhood suddenly dark, my parents decided to go to their  work to get internet. Having nothing better to do other than read but it was too dark I decided to listen to music and  an audiobook, while looking out of the window with my only source of light being a small flashlight. However before  my father, left he boiled water and put it In a thermos so I could make ramen later,      Because I had nothing to do I used the hall to practice volleyball. day 8

  Today was a true highlight of our trip—packed with some of Paris’s most iconic landmarks and ending with a magical evening on the Seine.  We began the day at the Place de la Concorde, where centuries of history echo through its wide-open square and grand fountains. From there, we made our way along the Champs-Élysées, the famed avenue lined with shops, cafés, and elegant buildings. Walking this stretch felt like stepping into a living postcard, with the Arc de Triomphe rising proudly at the far end. Standing beneath it and looking out at the radiating avenues, it was easy to understand why it's one of the city's most treasured monuments. Our next stop was the Eiffel Tower, and no matter how many times you’ve seen it in pictures, nothing quite compares to seeing it up close. Its sheer scale and intricate design are breathtaking. My expirence at the Whitewater Center Rock Ride Paddle camp

  The Whitewater camp called Rock, Ride, Paddle is a one week long camp in which you do various activities throughout the week. Some of the activities include whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, and mountain biking. There are other camps like Adventure camp but they are not focused on certain activities. Below are the activities we did and how each of them were. Whitewater Kayaking Whitewater kayaking is when you ride rapids and learn how to control a kayak. The first thing you learn is  how to put on the gear and after that you learn how to wet exit if you flip over. After that you get in the  water and practice. We were supposed to kayak for around 2 hrs per day but the first day that we were  supposed to kayak they were testing the water and didn't want people in the water.
