my 2022 thanksgiving meal
This Thanksgiving we had more dishes than usual. We also had a bigger
turkey this year. This year these were our dishes:
Turkey with brussels, sweet potatoes, and potatoes
A green bean casserole
Macaroni and cheese
Collard greens
Cornbread
Potato fries
Jello
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Creamed corn
Intense sour cranberry sauce and sweet cranberry sauce
Mini pies from Walmart which were:
Mini cherry pie
Mini pecan pie
Mini louisiana cake
Mini lemon pie
Mini apple pie
Mini blueberry pie
Medium sized pumpkin pie
And all of that food for 3 people! Out of those dishes I cut and washed
the brussels, and cut the bite-sized potatoes. I made the cornbread by
mixing and pouring the batter. I peeled the sweet potato and regular
potato skins to make the fries. And I made Jello.
After the food was ready we tasted all the dishes. The turkey cut cleanly,
the brussels and potatoes were good too. The green bean casserole was
just right. The Macaroni and cheese was not the best, it was a bit dry
but still edible. The collard greens were perfect. The cornbread was soft
but held together nicely. The fries were a little burnt but edible. The
mashed potatoes seemed fine to me but others said that they were a
little too salty. The creamed corn was filling. And the cranberry sauces
were amazing. Our 2 new dishes were creamed corn and macaroni and
cheese and they were good. That's how my meal went. Comment down
below and tell us what was your favorite meal from Thanksgiving!
