Why teamwork is important

Why teamwork is important.

Teamwork is important because it lets everyone share their own ideas, build

together and all the work does not fall on one person, which helps everyone not

get stressed out, letting them be relaxed, concentrate and complete their

responsibilities thoroughly. For example if there is only one person doing all the

work on a basketball team and nobody is open for pass, or guarding anybody in a

3on3 match that one person will have to get out of all the tight spots, and guard all

the other 3 players by themselves which can get really tiring.(I know because when

I went to a Basketball camp for the first day I was the only one on the team playing).

But if all three players help in a 3on3 match and everyone tries their best and does

not wander around they can at least be there to pass to and guard others so one

player doesn't have to do all the work and get so tired and can preserve their

energy.

Even outside of school and sports people work in teams everywhere. In a business

they need to have developers to program, build, and code. They need Testers to

test the developer’s code. They need salespeople to sell the product. If you do not

have  the developers the testers have nothing to test and the salespeople will have

to sell. If you do not have testers, bad code might accidentally slip into the main

website and make a problem if there is a problem the salespeople wont get

anyone to sell too. If there are no salespeople then the developers and testers can

do work but they will not have customers to sell to and they won’t get money. I feel

that I would be a good teammate because I am always willing to help others. I also

follow all the rules and if I need to correct someone I do it politely.
