when we went to Virginia for 5 days

Day1  To get to school I went on the early 7:00 bus and worked at my before school job for safety patrol  by opening car doors for 50 minutes. Then after safety patrol I went up to class and found out  that only 12 kids came to school. Since there were so few kids, my teacher let us do whatever  we wanted and not study. I ended up helping my teacher organize the room and set up her  bulletin board. After school my mom picked me up from the bus and we went home to finish  packing for Virginia. When my dad got home we loaded all the luggage into my moms car and  started driving. We packed two suitcases and two backpacks. After driving for a couple of hours  we stopped for dinner at pirates landing. It was designed in the shape of a ship and the staff was  very kind and joyful. The food was great and after we finished we continued on our way to Virginia. We were going to go to my dads sisters place but wh...

8/16/22 Since my mom runs a company, over the summer I went to their office space. At  their office space I did some chores, read, did some coding, and a ton of art. After  4 weeks me and my parents went to the beach. It was raining while we were driving  but in the end we got there. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I did surfing lesson s. Then on Friday we rented a surfboard for the day.    8/30/21 My favorite subject at school is media. The teacher who teaches media is Mrs.Gates. We have media in the library at school. Media is one of our specials and specials  happen every day after math so on certain days after math in the morning we would  go to media. I like media because I love to read and sort out books and Mrs.Gates  will sometimes let me sort out books. I also like Media because I like to help people  find books. 9/10/21 A time I helped someone was when my friend had a dance recital and had to  practice. I helped he...

Why teamwork is important

Why teamwork is important. Teamwork is important because it lets everyone share their own ideas, build  together and all the work does not fall on one person, which helps everyone not  get stressed out, letting them be relaxed, concentrate and complete their  responsibilities thoroughly. For example if there is only one person doing all the  work on a basketball team and nobody is open for pass, or guarding anybody in a  3on3 match that one person will have to get out of all the tight spots, and guard all  the other 3 players by themselves which can get really tiring.(I know because when  I went to a Basketball camp for the first day I was the only one on the team playing).  But if all three players help in a 3on3 match and everyone tries their best and does  not wander around they can at least be there to pass to and guard others so one  player doesn't have to do all the work and get so tired and can preserve their  energy. Even out...

The California Gold Rush

Have you ever dreamed of being rich? Ever wanted to have endless amounts of cash? Settlers in the 1800’s did. The westward expansion was a time in history when the U.S. grew from settlers moving west. An important era during the westward expansion was the California gold rush. The dangers in the gold rush, the forty-niners, and the miners' lives are three important topics vital to understanding the California gold rush. One important topic connected with the California gold rush is the forty-niners. The forty-niners were the people that traveled west for the gold rush. The forty-niners started their journey in spring and summer of 1849. They wanted to find gold to either start a family or to sustain their family. The forty-niners lived in camps and sometimes died from indian attacks or disease. Another topic connected with the California gold rush is the dangers the forty-niners faced. One of the dangers were the Indians, they attacked the forty-niners at random. Violence was com...
